Meet Our Pre-Pre-Occupational Therapy Mentorship Student

Elaina Alfano is a junior in high school at Dimond who is participating in the Anchorage School District Gifted Mentorship Program. She is interested in pursuing occupational therapy as a profession.

Elaina said the following about her time at Dynamic OT:

" I chose to do this mentorship to have a clearer outlook on what I want to do after high school and what path I should take to do so. I think that occupational therapy is a very personable, hands-on career where you get to help people be able to do what they want and need to do to have a full life. I have really enjoyed the interactions I have had with the kids that I've met and the opportunity to get to know them individually. This has been an amazing opportunity to be able to learn more about the profession and help me decide if it is the right one for me in a hands-on environment."
