Traditional Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Some of the more traditional areas we provide services for include, but are not limited to:

​

  • Fine motor skills (handwriting, cutting, drawing)

  • Coordination, balance, gross motor skills (riding a bike, scooter, playing sports)

  • Picky eater/problem feeder (may be underweight, may gag)

  • Sensory processing difficulties (oversensitive to sensory stimulation)

  • Crossing midline (tying shoes)

  • Visual motor skills (copying shapes, completing puzzles)

  • Abstract thinking (telling time, money management, reading a standard clock)

  • Executive functioning (problem-solving, attending to tasks, sequencing, time management)

  • Self-care skills (daily hygiene skills, dressing, bathing, grooming)

  • Activities of daily living (life skills) (cooking, chores)

  • Pre-employment training

  • Community mobility (riding the bus)

  • Social participation with others

  • Emotional regulation

  • Behavior management
